Member Categories
The purpose of the Federation is to advance the common business interests of incentive marketing trade associations, businesses, and corporations interested in establishing motivation programs to be used for premium and incentive promotion. Therefore, it has four membership categories: Any person, firm, association, partnership, or corporation described in (a), (b), (c), or (d) is eligible for membership in the Incentive Federation:
(a) Regular Membership shall be open to national incentive marketing trade associations and professional societies. Membership dues for trade associations is currently $5,000.
(b) Associate Membership shall be open to regional incentive marketing trade associations, trade associations whose members are composed of premium representatives interested in incentive marketing, trade associations whose members advertise incentive and motivational products, trade publications directed to the incentive industry, and trade show managements. Current dues for associate members is $2,000.
(c) Affiliate Membership shall be open to corporations manufacturing, selling, using and servicing products and programs for premium and incentive promotion.
(d) Individual Membership shall be open to individuals and businesses interested in incentive and motivational marketing.
In the latter two categories, (c) and (d), affiliate and individual memberships, there are subcategories. The lowest level, $100 in annual dues is for business associates. The next level, $500, is for gold memberships and the $1,000 level is for platinum memberships.
All members of the Federation are entitled to attend all meetings, except those meetings of the Board of Directors which may be closed to members and all legislative and other briefings held in Washington, D.C., or elsewhere. All members shall be eligible to receive current information on activities, policies and legislative positions of the Federation.
